Diamond and Dazzle: Conflict

What does it mean to have a perfect relationship? Is it defined by the absence of all conflict, a "honeymoon" state where neither party has any qualms with the other? We certainly have such relationships in fiction, but are those really ideal? If family members never quarrel, how can we know their love is genuine? If friends never fight, how can we know the bond they've formed is solid? Conflict in a relationship may not make for perfection, but when you think about it, maybe that's for the best.

Though the ending of this comic may seem bittersweet, today is a truly exciting day. As of this comic, I've officially made 100 entries into the Diamond and Dazzle series. I've had projects in the past that have lasted over six months, but in all those cases my passion dwindled over that time. Never before has my interest in a project increased over those six months, and reaching this milestone is a testament to that passion and interest.

Therefore, in honor of this achievement, I am presenting you all with a gift, something a bit different from the norm. In addition to this piece, the longest comic I've made to date, I have six more comics I plan to release over the next couple of weeks. When all combined, they shall make up the first true story arc for the Diamond and Dazzle series. I hope you all like it as much as I do.
